Another Haircut

In anticipation of the arrival of my family this Monday, I ran down to UNGU to get the shrubbery on my head that I call my hair a trim. Yoshiko was just about done and getting ready to style me when I noticed this dude working there who had really cool hair and asked her how he does that. So I decided I was going to (1) cut my hair like his next time and (2) dye my hair like his now. So all of the sudden I was dying my hair, which you see now. It's only really lightly done so as not to look too stupid. But I have reached full-fledged Japanese-ness now.

After my haircut took an hour and a half longer than I expected, I ran to meet up with Mayumi and Hina at Yayoi (one of Takako's friends I've never met before)'s baito-saki (the place she does her part-time job), an Italian restaurant called "Capriccio". The food was excellent and excellently cheap and conversation was entertaining as usual. Unfortunately, the night ended on a bit of a lull: Hina had to go all the way to Nagamachi to watch Ocean's 12 with her friend, Mayumi was too tired from work to do anything, and it was snowing again. It wouldn't have been SO bad that it was snowing again except I was still wearing only the light jacket I had on earlier in the day when it was warm and sunny.

Tomorrow I go to Matsushima with Teruko. It is kaki and sushi time.
